HIGH PLAINS BEEF
Thank you for taking an interest in High Plains Beef! We look forward to providing you with excellent quality beef. Our definition of all-natural is an animal that hasn’t received any antibiotics or hormone supplements. Our animals are not confined, but have room to roam as they please. Currently we offer beef by the quarter, half, or whole. We also provide custom meat services. If you want a specific product, we would be happy to discuss that with you.  

We began High Plains Beef in 2007, aiming to deliver direct to consumers healthy and nutritious beef, America’s favorite protein. The model has been simple- 100% Simply Beef! But, to break it down a little more- first we source high quality, all-natural, good marbling beef cattle that are suited for the environment of the southeastern Wyoming plains. They are then raised on a forage diet throughout the growing season. As the grass matures and winter approaches, they are taken to a USDA inspected custom processing facility to hang for approximately two weeks before the beef is vacuum-sealed and ready for delivery. Typically we deliver around the middle of October.

We have established good relationships with many repeat customers who anticipate our beef every fall. We are confident you and your family will be highly satisfied with our healthy, nutritious, savory beef.

MEET THE OWNERS
High Plains Beef is owned and operated by Ryler and Krista Lerwick. My great-great grandparents homesteaded near Albin, WY in 1908, and we’re fortunate to continue the ranching tradition. We specialize in all-natural beef and raise both grass finished, as well as corn finished, depending on your preference.
